    Hi,

Can anyone tell me if Trinity offer Actuarial (sp) studies?

I find the website reallllly hard to navigate and haven't managed to get my hands on a prospectus yet....

    Thanks!
    Lou

That's one of those things that's relevant in the real world, right? So no....

The closest thing to it is a course called Management Science and Information Systems Studies (MSISS). I'm doing it myself at the moment. All of the info you need to know if on

    www.msiss.com

and if you really have your heart set on the actuarial profession, read up on some of the websites for the actuarial societies. They give admission info and as far as I know (but dont quote me) MSISS students are eligible to go into the profession. There are also a lot more options if after your 4 years you decide actuarial isn't for you.

Or you could do Maths and Economics. Or plain economics. Either course is a good foundation for Actuarial Science.

    Thanks, guys.

I'll have a look at them.

Queen's in Belfast offer it, but I have my heart set on Trinity...decisions decisions!

    Thanks again!
