    Hi Xhristy,
    Once you have a degree you can teach the relevant subject as a sub. So you would be able to teach french with your degree. To be a full time teacher you must have a HDip in Education. Most schools really want subs to have the HDip but it is not always possible or necessary.

    Not all careers work out the way people would like, so be clear to yourself what you want to do and stick to it. Otherwise you could end up doing french tech support ;) jk.

    you would have to do the HDip to gain a teaching qualification, it's not called the Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

    Also your degree would have to be an approved qualification by the teaching council, this is updated regularly to include new courses etc but have a look to see if yours is on it.
