Do you mean customs fees? If so it's usually around 25% of the cost of the item AND the postage

    ouch! ...thats pretty expensive :(
oh well...cheaper than buying in ireland

So how dose that work, You pay it at the door when it comes or you pay it with Rsov?

Tspoon: not necessarily, what is it your looking for? quite often you are better off buying from one of the recommended irish retailers

Blazher: you pay it at the door to the postman, cash and exact change only

They will accept cheques also. I've done this in the past without any hassle

Haven't done it with airsoft gear but I've done it with motorcycle parts and american football gear. It's all the same thing though. I can't remember who you make the cheque out to but the delivery guy will tell you. Often it's just the delivery company

OP: You only get hit for tax about 50% of the time. Unfortunately, we got hit on our $1000 order:eek:

Well the stuff Im buying (Dboys metal MaA1 and a red dot scope with 9000 bbs) comes to €150 including p&p...if anyone knows any Irish retailers that can give me a better price Im open to suggestions;)

The bb's are the killer on shipping. Ditch them and get them from an Irish retailer. You're looking at 1.8Kg of bbs alone. When you factor in the price to ship that many you might be looking at double the price of a bottle here.

well im getting the bb's for 50c per 2000 so i think they'd still be worth it

50c per 2000??? What brand and weight are they? Are you sure it's not 200 for 50c, that would make more sense going by regular prices.

That's wierd, they look like the bags you get free with a new aeg or gbb. At 200rnds per bag they'd be the right amount too.

Don't forget to factor in the cost of the 1 joule spring you'll need to make it legal 'cos the metal bodied DBoys M4A1 shoots at about 390 FPS these days, and the money you'll have to pay to someone to actually install the spring if you cant do it yourself ;)

well according to...ehm...cant remember...the guy who started the thread on this gun....it shoots at around 315-330...unless he got it somewhere else...
