Any movies in the cinema at the moment that you'd bring a girl to for a first date? What would people suggest?

Avoid the cinema completely ... you want to get to know the girl whilst (hopefully) having a buzz with her. You can hardley do that if you're sitting beside each other quietly staring at a screen. Save the cinema for when you're 'seeing each other'

    I've known her for years.

And it's also a general question. You're going to the cinema with a girl (or a guy) on a first date. What do you go to see that's currently in the cinema or will soon be in?

erm...juno is funny, but a story about accidental pregnancy might not be a good idea!

saw sweeney todd last night and enjoyed it, but depends on ur tastes.

    go for a drink after.

Bring her to a horror film such as shrooms or one missed call!

she gets scared grabs tight on your arm(make sure your tensing to show off!:D)

Then the gud aul fashioned yawn and place arm over her.

Den go for a meal/coffee//drink afterwards and use the film as a starting point for you conversation!

if ya wanna see a movie or have already decided that you're going then i suggest meeting a little earlier and maybe going to a couple of shops, then cinema, then coffee or drinks after. this way ya fit loads into a short period and it seems more fun and comfortable.

sweeney todd probably. johnny depp's loved by one and all

My third date was going to see Star Wars and I loved it. Sweeney Todd is out at the moment and I liked it when I saw it at the weekend.Personally I'd have hated to be taken to see a chick flick.
Make sure you go for coffee or something where you can chat afterward.
    Good luck:)

I think he just wants to know which movie to go to. not whether he should aim for missionary or doggie!!! Movie wise i'd say go to Sweeney Todd or Kite Runner. Or Cloverfield. Monster movie..got ok reviews, odd scary bit for that cliched jump and casual gripping of the arm  . If you bring her to see meet the spartans or something you're as good as sunk. Women are good at gauging a guy through his cinematic taste..

Thats how Fred and Rosemarie West fell in love. She loved how he frothed at the mouth watching Deliverence for the 29th time!!

if your really nervous about a date then yeah go for the cinema, and go for pizza of coffee afterwards. that way you can talk about the movie, then get onto so what other movies you like? then onto music and stuff....then at the end of the night, as you know wot kind of movies she's like ask her if she'd like to see_________ _________ next week.
Or if you know of a gig she might like, ask her along to that.

    mmm....well a really girl would like a chic flick like a rom/com

I'd love a horror. something that makes me jump and hide in his shoulder. Cloverfield would be good

aliens vs predator 2. nothing like a cross species intergalatic war to get a girls engines revving.

    but seriously

Juno (kind of quirly humor that i'm not really in to. but really liked it.)
Dan in real life (think this movie was made for dates)
