ALL IRELAND 3RD LEVEL POKER TOUR 08/09

Big Slick Events are proud to announce the Mother of all Student events from September 2008.We are now taking names of Colleges that would like to participate in this All Ireland Poker Event , The Final will be late Feb early March 2009 .. We will have a national tour of all colleges with the heats on in each venue all leading to one grand Final at each event the top ten qualify for the final and the money left is spread over the final table.We hope to choose about 30-40 venues or colleges from which players will qualify for the Grand Final .. The Reason for this early Press release is that this event will take months of planning and stusents take a summer break and we need to have this organised for the new student Year ..



Each player must sign up to the affiliate online company which will be announced in due course and will also be adding to the Prizepool a Ticket to next years WSOP in las Vegas ...

Entry to the heats which will be listed from september will be €40-€50 Entry and all events will be fully dealt and professionally run ... The Finals entry fee will be decided and the venue to be announced with a prizepool of over €50,000 when the regional heats are finished Please note that you can only qualify from the heats and cannot buy in to this event. Please note that this is open to all 3rd level students only and ID must be shown at all events we will be looking at a €25,000 euro Guaranteed final..

In the matter that u do not qualify from the heat that you enter all Players are fully entitled to travel to another venue and play again from there ..

If the socieities have problems with poker being run on the college grounds then we will arrange a suitable venue in the surrounding area .

This is the initial press release but all all details will be announced shortly .
including venues/dates etc . The game will be NL Holdem and will be a 10,000 starting stack with a 25 Min clock for the heats all blinds included ..

If People Could pm me numbers for the heads of socities please do so or E mails . If we are forgetting a college or university please feel free to add the venue ..

Yeah that would be great bud ... same as if u need a sat for the masters in Waterford ill get one on closer the date ok .....

This Student one is only startin now alot of planning in it so i need to get it up and running asap

I hope you know St Patricks College Maynooth is actually the theology college that trains the priests. I can see how poker and prayers go together but you might want to make it NUI Maynooth instead

Hi Neil, im pretty sure its the montrose, but stillorgan park is close too. Just let me check with "the Authorities" before you go any further.

Will look at this also ... The main point is to get a certain amount added and then decide how we spread it out ... My main Goal is $10,000 added and we break it down in tickets so that we have students representing from the final
