Off next week

Hello all,
Im on a weeks holiday from work next week & as some of you know I am off the juice until July. What the **** am I going to do for a week? I'd normally go away somewhere on the piss with the lads or with my now x. So I dont know what I want to do & dont want to waste it. I had a nice win in a poker tournament last week so money isn't a problem. What will I do at this short notice!? Help!? (If anyone replies with ''YORE MA'' - YOU ARE SIMPLY QUITE SICK)

Sleep a lot, read all the books you say you're going to read but haven't got around to. Go in to town and meet your friends for lunch and laugh at them going back to work, do some things around your house, the list goes on.

I'd love a week off and not go away, just to cath up on myself and do all the crap you don't get time to cos sucky work takes over.

You could probably get a city break for a week. Go somewhere warm for a few days. Athens is pretty nice this time of year. My missus spent New Years there with her folks and had a blast.

Get some culture in for a bit. We all know it impresses the ladies to be able to say things like "Oh sure, the Acropolis is lovely. Have you not seen it?:cool:"

Look, I am sticking to staying off the drink and thats it! I have enough **** from the lads(especially the ****ers I have bets with) buying me pints & ****. I am going to do the 6 months & that is final.

Why don't you do a trip around Ireland, you would easily do it in a week. Granted the weather's not the best at the moment, you might enjoy it if you're into that sort of thing, there's countless places i'm sure you've heard of or read about but never had the chance to visit.

Yes sleeping on the board walk for the week is acceptable but not necessary all you have to do is walk around during the day with a cup asking people,
"got a few euro for a hostel bud?"
if you do this while wearing your smartest suit bonus points are due!

And look at the bonus while your on the gear Im sure your mates wont annoy you about not drinking instead they will spend the week trying to get you off smack, then when you stop after a week they will all think they helped save you and everyone comes out a winner from this plan.

Go to one of the countries that don't promote drinking like Dubai or something. You wouldn't be there for long but honestly there's not a whole lot to see. Four days on the ground would be overkill although they would be fairly packed days.

Worse thing about being off the booze is when you're out and all your mates on it.
