I thought my bankroll management was bad....he'd be better off lumping all his money on a horse....at least he'd have a chance of winning.

He needs to quit immediately until he can get out of the delusional mindset he's in. I've played with no BR management and on tilt before, and it's a guaranteed way to lose everything. But I've never been stupid enough to take the steps of borrowing large amounts of money to do it, and the selling his house idea seems like pure insanity, in fact he seems like he desperately needs help before he really messes his life up. Unfortunately he's not likely to listen to anyone in this state of mind. Really depressing :-( I guess if he doesn't have family then it's his business what he does, but this reads very much like someone spiralling into a drug addiction and he sounds like he needs help.

This is why I wonder whether or not it is 100% real (or even 88% real :)). The traffic he gets is HUGE and he must be making a fair amount as an Littlewoods affiliate. It is in his interest to post crazy gambly stories and increase the traffic!

If true, poor dude will probably lose a fair amount just buying and selling the house in such a short amount of time, the transaction costs are massive compared to moving in and out of equities - plus house prices in the UK have been coming down over the past 4 months.

He really needs to get himself out of poker until he can learn some discipline. His entertaining stories are fun to read but sad AND it would not be good for poker for them to be widespread amoung people who think all card players are degenerates!

Also, who in gods name is loaning Ed the money to play? £10k? Someone who hates money? Based on his exploits, you wouldn't trust him with a tenner!

I may be mistaken but did Flipper not loan him some money in the past?

There's probably loads more just like him out there, except they don't all blog about it. If it's all true, which it certainly seems to be then there's no chance for him, there's 0 chance that he's doing all this with not one single person in his life knowing about it or that cares enough to say anything to his parents/ family and for them to all do nothing. They are the only people who can help him.

If it's not 100% true, (the games defo are, but whether he's as broke as he let's on is another thing) then I suppose all we can do is enjoy the ride and story.

It is pretty sick stuff though, kind of like coming across a car crash and not being able to look away.

He was up 200k Sterling at one stage...

I think he managed to spin up +100k rolls from very little three times in less than two years. Thats quite an achievement imo - even if its somewhat nullified by his failure to hold onto any of it
