    Hi,
I'm looking for a nice gps for around 350 which :
    - has bluetooth for hand free calling.
    - is widescreen.
    - has good map coverage of rural and city ireland.
    - multi route planning features if possible.

Any ideas? Is the 350 euro price range realistic?

Garmin supposedly do better maps for rural Ireland than TomTom. Check out their website and see what product suits you and your price range

maybe the garmin users on here can advise you on one, I can't I'm partial to the TT

Thanks. I'm thinking of the Garmin 660T.

I don't think there's any traffic info service in Ireland so the 660T may be a waste of money, the 250 is less than half the price with the same maps but less bells and whistles. For a full feature comparision, go to the Garmin web site, click on the units you're considering and look at the feature comparisons, where there are feature differences the lines are highlighted.

Go here and click on 'Automotive', then select a few (max. 5) units to compare.....

TMC have no current plans to provide traffic info service for Ireland (32 counties) so I'd steer clear of the 660T, unless you live in GB...
