    Hey Guys,

Did anyone read the series of golf articles that were publised in the Irish (Cork) Examiner on a weekly basis last summer, about this guy who travelled around the coast of ireland playing the various links courses. I remember reading that he was to play so many courses in so many days. I remember specifically his reports from around the west and the courses he played there.

As far as I remember he was an american and was planning to document his travels and publicise a book about the courses and his experiences.

Does anyone remeber his name and if he did publish a book, what is it called.

    Cheers lads.

If you email sport @ examiner . ie (omit spaces) and ask them to forward it to Charlie Mulqueen, he might be able to help you.

The guy's name is Tom Coyne. You can read his reports on the U.S. Golf Magazine website (golf.com). He is writing a book about his travels but it won't be out until later this year. The titles going to be 'A course called Ireland'. He's a sound bloke I bumped into him at the European club.
