is there a way ( without buying the Mavis up button  ) to navigate up one folder in Vista's explorer ?

When you have a long folder name structure theres no single click way of navigating up one folder that I can see ??

Not single click, but you could click the little double arrow thing on the left to drop down a list of previous folders and use that. Or press ALT+up on your keyboard.

I think you can click the different segments of the folder name structure to navigate up.

Yopu don't need one, just click the previous folder to the left in the title bar

Thanks but backspace brings you back, which is not always to the parent folder. Alt + up arrow does navigate up however if I'm using the mouse I'd prefer not to switch navigation tools.

just have to get used to it I suppose
