Aldi LCD TV Sky remote codes.

Hi folks,

Has anyone succeded in getting Sky remote code for Tevion LCD32 10ID as sold in Aldi last November,its not listed in remote codes available through Sky menu.:(

A google for your tv on the first link points you to http://www.medion.co.uk/ who make the tv. the model number of the tv in the UK is MD30132 another google of that and the words "sky remote" point you to here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674622 where the codes are listed, good luck.

Google is your friend.

I've tried a multitude of codes at this stage but the blink back method from the Satcure link looks promising.

I've tried the blink back method as shown in the Satcure website,and got code 0584, remote seems to accept code (red led flashes twice) but it still doesn't operate the TV. :mad:

I'm pretty sure blinkback is only to show you what code the remote is already programmed for.

The latest (revision 8) Sky remote is approaching 2 years old. Its design must be at least 2.5 years old. So if Tevion applied to Sky for their code less than 2.5 years ago, it will not be included in the Rev.8 remote. (That's assuming they bothered to apply in the first place! Ask them.)

Rang sky and they gave me about 12 possible codes but none of them work. Any ideas what to do?
