    Hello All,
Just bought a Sony Memory Stick AVCHD Camcorder - HDR-CX7. Now the picture is great and I can save the movies onto the Memory Stick.

However I'm trying to find a way to play these movies on my PC.
I've looked around on the Net but they all see very complicated.

Do anyone have a (cheap) simple way to play these videos.

When saved from the Memory Stick to the PC it comes in as an .MTS file.
(This is just a straight copy)

    Any help appreciated.

    Regards
    Eanna Kennedy

This baby is the answer to pretty much any A/V needs. Not only does it support AVCHD, but also 99% of any other codecs out there, plus Multi-Region DVD playback off the bat.

    Oh, and it's free:

    Hello,
Downloaded the Vlan but when I try to play the MTS file it sends an error report and closes down. Any other ideas.

Downloaded the software that came with the camcorder (Picture Browser) so no I can at least play on my laptop. However it's a shame I can't save them in a format that can be played in Windows Media Player. EoC
