Connecting a sky plus box

    Hi

I am thinking of picking up a second hand sky plus box. I currently have multiroom (2 boxes) with movies and sports. I understand each sky plus box has two tuners to allow you to record and view two different programs. If I were to use the two tuners on the sky plus box would I have to hook both my existing cables to it or can the signal from one be split to allow me to keep the second cable connected to my 2nd sky box.

    Thanks

    Dave

    You can't split the cable.

The Sky+ box needs two cables from the LNB.

When they installed the multiroom they probably put a quad LNB on the dish, so you should have the capacity to add another 2 cables from it. So add one (or get a local installer to do it - get them to add 2....) and use that one for the Sky+ and you can still have multiroom as well.
