Music from I pod to computer

Had all music cds stolen from car and then couple of months later had computer hard drive cleared without backing up music like the tit that I am. Pretty much resigned to losing some of those rare enough mix cd's? anyway, got most music back on i pod from friends collections by putting i pod into disk mode or something and…

Pretty much resigned to losing some of those rare enough mix cd's? anyway, got most music back on i pod from friends collections by putting i pod into disk mode or something and using their i tunes. Wondering if i can transfer the music now on my i pod back onto my computer? as you probably have guessed im a bit of a simple simon when it comes to these things..... thanks in advance lads.

This isn't supported by iTunes afaik; last time I had to do it I use'd a third party app: Ephpod for doing this.

There's also iPodRip or SharePod.
