Mac how many minutes do you have import refresh on?

I reduced it a while back to 2 mins.. and also i compact my database regularly

Is your DB access or PostgreSQL ?
If its access it is caused by the DB getting 2 large and shortly you will see import errors poping up.
If its PostgreSQL .. i dont know but i presume there is a limit to the size aswell eventhough its much larger than access

did u come up with a solution Ian?

Support sent me this mail but none of it helps really

http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3518 - maybe the auto-rating your own stats part.

ive actually noticed this as well... but never thought of pokertracker. It is really a pain at times, especially if you try and search something online during hands, as everything always run so so slow... and windows starting poping up when you don't want them to.

Ensure logging isn't checked in the import box...

yeah i just changed to postgres recently and it's not good, did you change it back again or did you find another solution?

yeah make sure auto rating is not on.

    Delete your processed hands.

    import any unprocessed manually.

try to repair your database also (search the PT forums) you go into control panel and then administrator tools > ODBC

you can just go into your processed hands folder and delete them there.

ok guys thanks for the advice...

auto import is not checked nor is logging.
processed hards folder is empty and I move hands... it just seem the bigger my database gets the more it slows down...

I'm hoping PT3 may sort the problem?

or any other solutions.... PT support got a pit pissed abpout me posting it here as well..... they have their own forum for stuff like this.... prob should have posted it there maybe...
