Howdy. I'm heading to the match on Saturday and was thinking about bringing the young fella. Now ignoring the fact that he's only four and a half and might be a bit of a handful to amuse for the duration of the match, do you guys know if I'd be allowed to "lift him over the stiles" just like my Dad did when I was a kid?

    Thanks a million,
    ct

Thanks guys. If I had a ticket for him would he be allowed in (i.e. is there a minimum age requirement)?

    That would probably be ok.

Tbh, It might be a little bit intimidating for a young child.

You're probably right - it would be fun for all of about 5 minutes :-)

    Thanks,

Brougt my eldest (11) to the dubs in Parnell and Augrim for league games and no probs.

But have to agree that croker would be a different story

The noise might be a bit much for him.

My uncle got my cousin in ''over the stiles'' to a big Dublin match not so long ago. I'd say she was about 4 too.

Depends where your ticket is for, I'd say. If you're going to the Hill, ie the terrace, then maybe. But if you've got a seat, where is the kid going to go? Those seats ain't big enough for two.

I've paid 65 euro for my seat. If you were beside me, I don't think I'd appreciate a four year old wedged between the two of us. Not that I've anything against kids but there's a time and place.
