Today FM on sky ?

    Does anyone know if Today FM can be added as an extra channel to a sky box, I've done some searching but can't find anything

    Mmmmmm - interesting!
    I too would have said that Today FM was not available on the SKY platform - it certainly doesn't appear on the EPG.

    However, I just noticed that there is a letter in this month's (February - just delivered today) SKY magazine (p71) from a viewer from Kilkenny asking how to record "The Last Word" show with Matt Cooper on Today FM. SKY give an answer indicating how the programme can be recorded using the Manual Recording option under Services.... :confused:

    Now, either this channel has been added (at least a month ago) and some of us have missed the EPG update, or SKY are planning to add the channel soon and are faking letters from subscribers ;) With all the ballyhoo about fake phone-ins, SKY would hardly be getting creative with reader's letters - would they :eek:

    Doing a quick search on Lyngsat, the only channel at 28º E with Today in its name is Russia Today.

    The reason that Today FM is not available on sky is that it is not broadcast by satellite. :(

    The majority (if not all) of those letters are made up.

    I'm going to close this thread now, since nothing has changed since it was opened two months ago.

    EDIT: Make that 1 year, 2 months ago! :eek:

    Hopefully though, we'll see a new thread soon stating that Today FM will be on satellite!
