I was in dunnes today and noticed that crested 10 was only about a euro more expensive than regular jameson.
I've never tried the stuff, is it in any way better than regular jameson?

It's a bit fuller and spicier than the regular Jameson.

It is better than Jameson, I believe. Older whiskey in the blend, although it's not a 10 year old.

Jim Murry's whiskey bible gives it 88/100

i have enough whiskey for the moment. i'm not a big whiskey drinker, i'd always keep a bottle in the cupboard but i dont need a heap of bottles. that space is used by beer. but i'll prob go for crested 10 next time just to try it. if it's nasty i'll mix it with coke

Ha ha, good old Jim Murray.

He also gives Jameson regular 95/100 but Bushmills Original only 79 when its a far better blend.

I do like the Crested Ten. One of the better value Jameson products.

I like Crested 10 - nice and smooth bought a bottle last time I was down at the Midleton distilery shop - went on my 7th tour of the place - keep finding people who have not done the tour so I have to do the decent thing and accompany them :D:D
