Okay- so I'm hanging in the office today afteer a feed of beer. Had some Eddie Rockets on the way home and it's repeating on me all day today, sooooooo I was wondering, is it better to have a feed after pints and get the soakage in OR is it better just to go to bed and get that liver working on the alcohol and not digesting fatty foods aswell. Which one results in a less severe next day syndrome?

Drink a good bit of water before and while you are drinking. I wouldn't go for fastfood just after drinking usually-better to eat a good unhealthy homemade greasy fry up.

well the artificial hunger is bad. its just that alcahol drains your body of salt and thats how we get a craving for salty fast food. your best bet is to drink a few pints of water before bed and eat the following morning

Did you have a good feed before the beers last night?

I'd usually have feed before and feed after, with plenty of non alcoholic liquids (coke if in chipper, water etc...)
Drop 'the kids' off before work and have a shower, and I'm usually grand then...

Holy Moly, try remembering that peom when you're bladdered :(

Usually its a bad idea after eating - as mentioned previously, its a false hunger and its when you'll do most damage to the system (apart from the drink itself). Eating unwanted food, which is usually greasy as fook - computer says no ;)

I'd usually go for something to eat after I drink - bit of soakage I suppose. And then a pint of water before I go to bed and a pint of water on the bedside table for that 6am wake up with an ashtray for a mouth!

Alternately you can not drink on a school night if you can't handle it.

Its the only cure for a hangover although I don't get to do the curry chips option that often, normally its just toast or pitta bread for me.

Love you long time, my sisa virgin, very experience.

Never eat before drinking, eating is cheating, you just have to drink more to get drunk. If you do not eat before hand and usually do then drink less- simple as that. Eating food will give the acid in your stomach something to feed on/digest overnight.

Yeah, my mate always gets served "bad burgers" after 12 pints.

I never stop for fast food or chipper or whatever when I'm hammered. I might stop in a casino for blackjack, but never food. Go figure.

My thinking is that all you're really doing is eating greasy, fatty food when you'rre really not hungry and it is just the booze talking. I try to save money and my waistline (both of which need plenty of assistance). I drink plenty of milk & water when I get in, and I eat any french bread that may be left over from earlier, but that's about it.

Toast is great after a late night! Or if I'm not worried about my diet...garlic cheese chips...but not too often..
