Commencing selling on Ebay

I'm considering beginning to sell items on ebay, specifically branded make-up.

I'm found a supplier (based in the states) who is willing to send me lots with specific brands. I'm negotiating a price with them currently.

Now I know I should allow for VAT, paypal fees & ebay fees.

But does anyone have any advice or opinions on this? It's my first time selling on ebay so any advice (positive or negative) would be greatly appreciated!

Just make sure that u dont contradict Ebay laws in selling, pictures, descriptions etc.

I was selling for 1 month, all of a sudden Ebay started to take off my items, said I was selling fakes, they were not fakes and I even got my buyers on Ebay to contact them to tell them that they were 100% happy and not fakes, but no good.

I am now banned off Ebay because I argued my point and told them to contact me directly and stop sending me corporate bla bla. They were not happy at all so banned me!!!! :(

Oh don't like the sound of that, I'm going to go through their laws with a fine tooth comb now.

Were you reported by someone or did they ever give you a valid excuse for suspending your account?

You should build up some feedback (if you don't already have any) by buying some
things or selling some cheaper things on ebay.
Sellers with low feedback, don't get as much for their goods as the risk is higher.

    I have 52 postive feedbacks.

What is strange is that I had 10 of the exact same items for sale, 7 were pulled, 3 sold and all returned postive feedback :)

Then I started to question them and ask for "non corporate" standard responses and this got their back up, so now I have to sign a "dont be bold" form, send in copy of passport, utility bills etc :(

build up your feedback score first

take your own photographs, if possible leave tags on the products so they can be clearly seen in the gallery image, also don't use a standard description off a website- write your own
