theres already a convo thread about these somewhere,. there prone to breaking and youd be best off giving it a good strip and rebuild before using it.,
the MP5 will defo out gun the MP7, its more of a pistol than anything else really.,

mp5 it is then :p now just for a suitable sling or holster, anyone wanna lend a hand? :P

you can get an MP5 holster, the only thing about it is you have to remove the mag to hoslter it though.,

But thats up to each individual, I think the mp7 looks like a toy.

I think the mp5k is more stylish, not modern but a well recognised classic.

    So, I think mp5k, without a doubt!:D

Its a pity there aren't more micro subs available though.

true but it is the only attribute that can even be contested between the two lol,
More micro subs would be great, their really is **** all choice :(

Yeah, gearbox is in action but our new contact(a screw) is blocking the rails. And filed down the resin works perfectly for the mags.

im a bit confused, are these galaxy or well?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

theres 2 brands but both are known for giving trouble., the TM one is bulletproof.,(excuse the pun ;))

i would love an mp7 alright, so far the main turn off has been that accuracy report

eirsoft are stocking the well one

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

im gonna get one anyway, i'll strip it and rebuild it before using it though. come to think of it if any of you way rid of a damaged gimmie a shout. id be interested in one.,

their really only AEPs and you wont reaaly be able to compare them to an AEG for accuracy or FPS .,

there real nice lookin and i could see it coming in handy if your under fire, not to wait for tony to update with some mags ;)

I was thinking of getting one (Well) off of Shiva next paycheck.
What problems do they have ? Have heard there are stock issues.
What other problems would there be?

I've yet to strip a gear box so not too up on my stripping and assembling
    in detail.

well i have a galaxy mp7...had a problem with a shipment from gunner (no hi cap) but got that sorted. i have had zero issues with mine, no misfeeds, no charging or battery issues, in fact i cut the cable and charge it now with my normal charger. it takes mag mp7 mags flawlessly.

i did fire gandalfs mp5k...i would say thats a better option...bigger battery as well

Two or three Well Mp7 was bought by two members of my airsoftclub, myself included. Only mine functioned properly. The other one bad charging problems, the mag-catch was broken after two skirmishes, and feeding problems with the original mag.

Now mine is croning 108-118 fps, and is basicly just ****e with metal rails. Still good looking in my eyes, TM here I come. Mags can be used on both TM and Well.

    Guys which is noisier?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

between the MP7 and the MP5? defo the MP5, the MP7 sounds like tinkerbell compared.,lol

Hmm so now its down to seeing what an mp5 is like with a silencer.......

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

it dont make a lot of difference really neil, the noise it only partly from the muzzle and a lot of it is through the guns body since its pretty thin., if i were to choose between the 2 id have the MP5 though, the range and ROF are in a different league to the MP7.,

got mine yesterday, real nice gun better than i had hopes for (i shot the lcd that i accidentally killed with my aug and it cracked it so fps isnt too bad at all)

    Got the Well mp7 yesterday.

Inserting the battery is a bit confusing as it would not go in!
There are two protrusions that are sticking up that block the battery
from going all the way into the battery compartment.
These protrusions can be pushed down if you stick a rod or a long thin finger
into it and then the battery goes is.
I dont know what these protrusions are for or if anyone else has seen this issue.

Magazine is crap and is very rough will need to open it up and look at it.
The spring in the mag puts very little pressure on the feeder. When you insert
the mag you can feel the handgrip flex a bit. The mag catch is crap.

The stock will not stay extended, when you try and shoulder it, it collapses.

The main Body is strong and the finish is good. ROF is only OK.
I went to sleep last night and forgot I had the battery in it got abot 12 hours
charge. Work up to a smell of warm/hot plastic. The charger itself was quite Hot
    and producing the smell.

Had a galaxy MP 7 for a while, we didn't really hit it off! sounds like a simililar issue with the mags(galaxy gave a mid cap and a hicap) hi-cap was crap. The battery I thought was cool, clever loading system, don't worry bout those protruding clips, there there to aid in removing the battery. just push them back in, they go back anyway when you reapply the fore barrel. As to the 12 hour charge..your on your own mate! Hot smell/melting plastic, sounds like the death of a battery!! hopefully not. Best of luck with it.;)

The mag release catch is a HK signature, same as the USP..

bullets i think those little protrusions are to keep the battery from wobbling., turn the gun upside down and the battery should just slide in no probs., havent had any probs with my mag though,.

the little tabs on the inside are designed to keep you from inserting the battery and firing a shot, if the gun is on safe then the battery will go in no problem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6 Sifpilsen

That explains why I never had this issue on my gun, alway securing my gun after skirmish :)
