the well l96 is over 1 joule, not sure about the JG bar 10 but that could be too

edit: apparently the jg bar10 is 360fps w/0.2g bb too, so that's over the limit, time to look at something a little less powerful, the limit is 1 Joule, or 328fps with a 0.2g bb

Go with the JG bar-10 its based right after the VSR so is probably alot quieter assuming theres a version with a silencer......

Re the JGBar10 from RSOV; it's more like 390/.2 out of the box.
It's a 10 to 20 minute job to dissasemble and change the spring. It's easier than the VSR to change as the cylinder isnt pinned - just unscrew it.
It can be downgraded with the following spring from WGC for about $15.
    (LAY-PT-PSS10S100 Laylax PSS10 100 Spring for TM VSR-10)

It will then clock at 325 fps/.2g.

Trying to import it as is will likely lead to it being siezed and destroyed by customs...

    Buy Irish!

Get the jg bar, one of the best spring snipers you can get.

which is better? the GSPEC or PRO?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

pretty good review of the pro here:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054987612

and a review of the g-spec on arnies:
    http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviewpost/showproduct.php/product/161/cat/19

afaik the main difference is pro has iron sights whereas g-spec has a rail and a silencer

Ok, Will probably go with the JG BAR-10A. Decisions, decision... !

Will probably need to downgrade the spring as it's shooting about 360FPS out of box with .2g BB's.

ask them to downgrade it before sending it over., it will be illegal if they dont and that might mean it gets stopped by customs and destroyed.,

I'd strongly advise you to check the FAQ on RSOV. It looks to me like you will not get your package until March if ordered on or after 1 Feb to 17 Feb.

Either order before the 31 Jan (tomorrow here - and today already in China:)) and be prepared for a possible wait - or just wait.

You may be lucky with them doing a d/grade for you - I had to do it myself. (easy)

Dont hold your breath - you have been warned:D:p

    There's no "probably" about it.:p
    Speaking from experience.

It should automatically enter their system.

Did you click the "Return to Merchant" button when you were finished making your payment, or let Paypal redirect you back to Rsov ?

There's a problem with osCommerce and Paypal that means if you don't go back to the site immediately after you've finished the payment, the seller gets your money, but isn't notified of which items you've bought.
