Hi there, my fiance and I are looking at getting married in Italy. We have information from 2 wedding planners, 'Amore Weddings' & 'Slow-dreams Weddings'. Our numbers are around the 120 (tops) mark. If you have heard about or dealt with either can you let me know if they are good, bad, expensive etc.

    Cheers!
    Tomo;)

    Hi,

Congrats, my fiancee and I are getting married in Italy in August this year. We are dealing with Marco in Villa Baroncino and Villa San Crispolto. I've talked to others who were married there and all the feedback is excellent.

I have to say Marco has been very easy to deal with, and to date I've no stress, still I've 7 months to go.

    Anyway check it out.

Myself and the missus are gettin married in Sorrento(hotel) and Positano (church). Anyone I know who has been there can't wait to go back.

Now WE can't wait to go over. My Dad said Vesuvius and Pompei is amazing.

We are dealing with Budget travel, Top flight I think. (she is in charge) :P

I got married in Tuscany five years ago, the anniversary is next week. An english man living in italy organised everything for me, I can PM his details to you if you want. Everything was fantastic and the costs were quite reasonable, we only had a civil wedding as we were not interested in Church weddings and a small group of close family and friends.

I've heard excellent things about Amore Weddings! You can see the results for yourself in Confetti 25 Real Weddings. Lisa Crotty, the wedding planner did La Dolce Vita on p122. The couple are actually on the cover of the magazine and they look pretty happy.

Hi there, I'm thinking about going to Italy to get married in 2010 - I'd be very interested to hear how you got on in Tuscany, and what venue's you used? I've only ever been to Rome so haven't a clue where to start looking!

    hi everyone,

we are using alessandra from book of dreams, she is based in sorrento, going through travel agents seemed very expensive !! she charges around e1100 to organise it all, and i mean it she is fantastic emails and calls all the time, she will organise anything.

if ye are looking for more info on italy go to www.tripadviser.co.uk and go into the italy or sorrento section and select forums, plenty of info there.

    Hello
Please look at my website: www.hitchedinitaly.com

I deal with affordable, Tuscan weddings in a beautiful town called Bagni di Lucca, but can also organise weddings in Rome and Siena with the help of my associate wedding planner, Alessandra.

Look forward to hearing from you...

Another beautiful area in Italy is the Italian Riviera.
Have you ever heard of Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure?
It is a beautiful coast and it offers many different activities and stunning sea side venues.
I'd like to post some pictures but I just can't figure out how.. sorry!
Anyway you can have a look at some pictures on Trip Advisor..

if you still have details of the man who organised your wedding I would much appreciate them. Also where did you get married, what was the name of the area and the reception venue. Thank you
    Cheers
