Budget v Sunway

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any difference between Budget and Sunway. I am looking at booking a holiday in Canaries and there is a €250 difference between the same resorts. Is there any reason the for difference that you can think of. Have checked and both seem identical - half board etc.

I've been on a holiday with Sunway but I'm not sure that I've been on one with Budget Travel. But to my knowledge, within the travel industry, Budget Travel seem to be considered very unreliable in the standard of accommodation that they provide.

I have gone on about five holidays with Budget Travel and I have never had anything but a good experience with them. Their reps are v helpful and friendly in the resorts. The only bad thing about them is that their flight times can be very late at night or very early in the morning.

If there is a €250 difference I would reallly recommend going with Budget.

But what I can't understand is why the difference between exactly the same place. Would it be that you get a smaller room? Airport transfers? free beer all week!!!!!!???

Just thought that someone could shed some light.

I would guess that its a substandard room. for that price difference, it may be in an older block or something? maybe something to do wth the view? As i said Im only guessing!

It depends on the contract rates that each operators gets from the hotels! Budget might get a better deal than Sunway. then also depends on the margin/profit each wants to make on the holiday.

budget do have a dodgy rep but if it's a major hotel - standard would be ok!
