    Hi,

Just found out there that I failed 2 of my three Xmas exams.
I got 35% in two of them and 40 in the other.

Will 35% definitely be deemed a fail? or will it be passed on for someone else to decide ?

Anyone ever get 35% and the board passed ye?

    Cheers

think i got some 'referred to exams commission' as my mark-but i have no idea what it means or where to go from here. Suppose il just wait for the results to be posted out soon.

when i got "referred" at the repeats it meant i failed the subject and pretty much had to repeat the year.

And to the OP, i reckon you'll probably have to repeat em in september. you can always try appeal your result but i'm not sure how long you have till that choice is gone

you can carry some exams or if you get between 35-40 you could pass by compernsation.

Usually if you fail Semester 1 exams the exam board will wait to see how you do in Semester 2 before deciding how to proceed.

i failed exams in the pre semesterised days. refer means a fail but i think you can compensate if your mark was between 35 - 40 provided you got a high mark in a relative subject. not sure if you can compensate if you failed more than one tho! talk to the student union academic officer-they helped me loads.
