Wanted - Drummer for The Fuzzy Papers

Our Influences - Music - The Who, Led Zeppelin, Wilco, New Pornographers, Abba, Ella Fitzgerald, David Bowie, Funk, Prog, Pop and anything with a decent melody / riff etc. Vocal - Simon & Garfunkel, CSNY, New Pornographers.
You should be able to drum like a cross between Keith Moon and that monkey from the Wispa advert !!!
Age - doesn't matter, but mid twenties upwards would be better.
We're currently a 3 piece - Guitar / Guitar / Bass (2 guys and a girl) -Also looking for a keyboard player too. Our stuff can range from very buzzy poppy stuff / heavier stuff (though not metal) and some folky acoustic tunes too. It's usually pretty memorable with interesting vocal parts / chord changes and amazing guitar parts (guess what I play !?!?!?!?!)

The music is hook filled with loads of layered vocals. To hear what we sound like, go to www.myspace.com/thefuzzypapers. Teenage Kicks is not very representative - just a bit of fun for the Today FM Comp (4th Place if you please !!)
We play original music and have a load of songs written / demoed. We also have a few covers to show off how good our musical taste is !!!

We basically want someone who's a bit of a laugh and easy to get along with who can play. We've a few guaranteed gigs in April just to get things going, but we want to be reasonably well rehearsed first.

Based in Drogheda, but can travel to city centre for the right drummer - maybe alternate visits between town / rehearsal studio in Drogheda (good gear and cheaper than town).

If interested, either PM, or send us a mail at thefuzzypapers@gmail.com

    My Bad !

I obviously don't have a keen enough understanding of confectionery advertising to be putting up an ad containing chocolate based humour !!!
