    Do Dell sell refurbished laptops, are they available from Dell.ie if so could anyone supply a link, are they much cheaper than new ?

    Not sure if any of the DELL outlet stuff is refurbished in the manner you might expect.

    What I have found is that a lot of there stuff is returns from where DELL have made an error in the spec and customer needs it changed. Therefore they tend to be laptops that are barely used but have been unpacked.

    Do check out the main site as the last laptop I purchased from DELL was much cheaper on the main site then on the outlet site.

    I think it depends a great deal on what offers are on at any one time.

    There is a good thread on the Bargain Alerts board. The folks there are very good at posting the best current deals.
