Has anyone travelled to Zurich with Swiss?
I have to go to Zurich for one night and direct flight options seem to be Aer Lingus and Swiss. I have never travelled with Swiss… any good? Comments appreciated.
Are there any other options to Zurich?

Swiss..generally very good. For short haul, it's as good as any, and possibly a slot above Aer Lingus.

Swiss are fine, not much between the airlines now. I think they both fly to the main Zurich airport do the only question in my mind would be who is cheaper?

It depends on if you want to travel with a bucket shop airline "AerLingus" who are generally always late and treat you like cargo or a proper airline "Swiss" who actually treat you like a customer and value your business

Check price and schedule. Aer Lingus arrive in late afternoon and leave about lunchtime.

Zurich is the nicest airport I've ever been in. The train to the terminal is fun, the shops in Departures are all designer.

I haven't traveled on the Zurich-Dub route but have used swiss on other routes and am distinctly underwhelmed with their planes. The seats were old/ ricketey and just uncomfortable.
That said, I got a great deal on the journey I wanted to make so I cant complain.

p.s. Maybe also check opodo.com for prices/ times as there might be cheap routing with connection involving lufthansa via FRA or somewhere else in germany.

I've flown with Swiss to Zurich about 7 or 8 times, and back again. No issues at all.

...only one flight a day though.

From my experience about 3 years ago, Swiss have also lowered their standards to compete with low cost airlines. They now have an overpriced underwhelming food menu like you see with the others.
