I attend this beautiful ritual almost every year. And am planning on it this year too!
Assembly is at 7.20 this Thursday evening at the car park of the Japanese gardens near Kildare town. Then from the well there at the edge of the carpark, a lantern lit walk up to the main well and shirne. This is usually very well attended, very well run and very beautiful too. It is pretty secular and manages to fulfil both Christian and pagan without offending either!
It also usually encompasses many of the cultural traditions,
For example, the last few years they gave out a brat to everyone, before that rushes for making your own Brigids cross.

    almost forgot!

If you do go along. Bring a candle in a jar or similar. At very least bring a torch!
The old, Jamjar tea-light thing works just fine if you don't have a lantern!
