    Had an interview for sales rep position today....basically travelling around the country trying to get people to change to our brands..

    €30k basic, no commision/bonus, company car & mobile phone...

    I'd appreciate if anyone who knows the business could tell me if this is a good package?

    It's a very good deal, depending on what you sell. Most sales rep positions are for way less...

    You're going to have to give more details if people are going to be able to help you. How many years experience, how much travelling is involved, will you have an expense account and so on.

    usually sales jobs are 80/20 basic v commission, but with no commission structure you dont have targets, so life will be easier

    is it a new company, they sound like they might be a tad naive~?

    ps 30k basic for a new rep would be a good salary
