I'm currently considering a career change as i bored with what i am doing at present, i don't feel challenged anymore and don't feel i can progress any further. I have always been interested in Eletricity and for 1 reason or another never served an apprenticeship or bothered looking into it. I'm 30 now happily married no money worries, i was wondering is it possible to train as an electrictian while still in your current employment or is there any courses you can do. Any help or pointers would be fantastic.

I think DIT do part time courses, not sure how long it would take but you should check them out
