Fuji S9000 - Broken Command Dial

Hi, the command dial on my S9000 is broken, I can no longer select anything from its menu so camera is basically on auto now. This seems to be a common enough problem but one not recognised by Fuji. Hi,

I read about that 'non-issue' when researching buying an S9600 and if I recall correctly, there was a home fix posted across d'interweb..

Sure a new one costs so close to what they're quoting to fix it, if you (or someone you know) is confident enough, why not give it a shot? ah go on
