Was talking to a taxi driver bringing me home saturday evening from work, he told me there was a big police presence in the town friday night and someone reported a guy going round the town with a gun

    Anyone hear anything about this

I will surmise the poster is either a taxi driver or knows one or has no sense of humour.

Could just have a chip in his shoulder?

OT; Haven't heard anything about it, you'd think there'd be a bit more publicity though, as per the fellah on Camden St...

didn't hear anything about it, but I was out saturday night and on the way home I was listening to the taxi drivers chattin. Some guy (I heard his name & won't say it) tried to car jack a golf on some person. but an unmarked cop car was nearby and saw it happen

heard some more about this, apparently there was a guy with a gun and he was up in the back streets of ballybricken, according to the taxi driver that drove me home last night, it was flashed up on all the screens
