Just got word that my new shiny beast has been shipped from the maker in the US.

Just wondering how quick customs are at processing things.

Add a day to the length of time it'll take to get from America to account for customs.

In my experience, if you are using UPS or FedEx then add 0-1 day.
Not to frighten you with this next bit BUT but if you are using USPS and VAT and Duty is levyed on your guitfiddle and if its more than a certain amount then Customs will write you a letter and your axe aint goin nowhere till they get the cash. You may also need to employ a customs agent (50 euros thank you)

Good luck with it and please let us know how it works out.

I haven't had that trouble yet. If its coming thru UPS or FEDEX then they usually act as the broker and charge their bit. I usually use USPS and find it easier and faster, but generally it takes a day or so. If you have the tracking number you can check on the an post website what stage its at. :)

You usually pay all charges to the delivery man when he comes with your goods. Just to note my Keeley modded Tubescreamers spent 3 days in customs :(
