    Folks,

Can anyone recommend me a good (not ripoff) garage (preferably officially Mazda), for the first service on a 07 Mazda 6 in Dublin ?

I can't speak of Mazda specifically but I have found Sandyford Renault, who are agents for Mazda and Opel as well, to offer a very good quality of service. If you want to go main dealer then I would go there instead of MSL or Belgard.

If MSL in Dublin are like what they are like down here in Cork you'll stay a million miles away from them.

I'm about to get my Mazda 6 serviced for the third time since I bought it. First time, I went to Annesley near the airport. Like a lot of Mazda dealers they also do Merc + Audi so I find there's a "second class citizen" feeling when you go in with your Mazda. Whatever it was, I just didn't like it. I told them I thought it felt unresponsive and they checked it out, said it wasn't and charged me half an hour's labour for it.

Last time I used Joe Duffy in Finglas. Not as bad because the Mazda place is separate from their BMW place but their location is crap and they weren't offering to drop me to a bus stop or anything.

This time, I'm going to try Park Service on the NCR. They are part of MSL so E92's comment worries me a bit but we'll see how it goes.

In general, the whole servicing thing is one of the reasons why I don't think I'd buy another Mazda.

    Hi,
I used MSL on NCR and had no problems with them. It was the cars first service and there were no problems. I thought the wiper blades were a bit worn and said it to them but they rang to say they were grand and there was no need for any replacements. I had previously had a Toyota and the service garage (and sales agents) used want to replace anything replaceable and find problems that didn't exist. They'd be told not to do it in one service and not even notice the "problem" in the next service.
    Very happy with Mazda.

BTW. The garage on NCR also does Merc and someother services and at no time did they make me feel like I was getting an inferior service as my car may be viewed as inferior to other brands.
