Christening Present from Godmother

Anyone got any original ideas on what to get a Godchild? Don't want to go for the usual crap of first curl box etc. Was going to get prize bonds but figured thats a bit boring. Any good ideas?

You could open a bank account and pay something in (you may have to get the parents to open the account though i'm not 100%), you could continue to do this then for xmas, birthdays and so on.

I wouldnt go with clothes anyway, they usually get too many and grow out of them too fast.

I think the general concensus here recently was definately not to get photoframes

Other than that ... dunno

I got mine a voucher for a professional photo. I brought her out for the day and we got a gourgeous black and white shot. Parents were impressed, don't know about the child.

Yeah, I thought about getting a photo and putting it onto canvas, maybe I'll look into that so..

name of child, his feet or hands printed on plague, there is a name for his but I cant think of it.. Do you know what Im talking about. I think Hallmark do them..
