Hi, I just bought an Acer Aspire 2920z. Was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a laptop sleeve. I'm looking for something strong enough to take a couple of bumps - planning on putting the laptop in the sleeve then in a normal backpack.

Are there any brands with a great reputation, or any to stay away from?

    Cheers.

crumpler's "the gimp", use it for my macbook in a regular jansport backpack. it has taken a couple of bumps but since the sleeve is made out of neoprane (wet-suit material) it is well padded.

also there is extra padding around the zip so that the zip doesn't scratch the casing of the laptop.

www.crumpler.de i think is their website.

Id put XP on it, but the HDD doesnt have XP drivers so I cant. After cleaning the crap off of it, it runs well. Sometimes takes ages to shut down.

Yeah I got it from laptopsdirect.ie, ordered monday night arrived thursday.
