Peter Jordans page has a few nice routes in and around Mayo.Moore Hall would probably be your best bet. There's supposed to be a short singletrack course out there.Directions are on his site.

If you're willing to travel to Galway there are a few forests there with XC loops, Clarinbridge and Ross Wood have some manmade stuff while Oughterard has a new loop built by Coillte, not sure if it's open or not though.

I've seen that Peter Jordan site and its pretty useful for trails in Mayo, though I ain't got the chance to try them out yet.

Don't know where in Mayo you're based or how close to Galway you are, but I've started exploring the areas not too far from the city, and there's some fairly good ones.

See the following thread if you have any interest in the Galway trails.

As an aside from the original question, anyone hear any update on the status of the planned Oughterard trail?
    Is it finished yet?

Also, any other good trails around Galway that arent covered in the thread above?
