Hi All
A friend of mine is interested in buying a Canon 24/70 2.8L from Abe's of Maine in America and sending it to his brother, they charge no tax or p/p this is why he opted for this company rather than B&H etc. They all carry the same price but you would save on tax and p/p

i think i read somewhere that B&H dont charge sales tax if they are shipping to a US State where they are not located so depending on where your friends brother is located this may not be an issue

Used them before. got belted for customs tax. use KEA now on ebay

Thanks for all the reply's. I never said in my e-mail that his brother is living in New York so he would be ok with customs, I was just wondering if they were ok to deal with !!!!

I'm doing something similar with a buddy in NY for my Canon 400D. He is going to buy mine at B&H in NY. He said tax is about 8.25%. Don't know what the p&p is though.

PS. I have heard Abes is good.
