Cataloguing DVDs - app?

Fellow Macficionados - I used to have a little app, back in MacOS 7 or so, which catalogued what was on every CD I had.

I'm now putting all my CDs onto DVD, as my new stereo plays DVDs happily, but my only way of keeping a record of what's where will be typing out all the names of the numbered DVDs.

Is there still an app that would do the work for me? For instance, keep a record that DVD number 51 is called Old Hippie Stuff and has Album X by Van Morrison, Album Y by Joni Mitchell, etc?

Oh, I have Delicious Library - didn't know it did that! Thanks!

Of course, I may have misunderstood what you're looking for if it doesn't :)

No, it doesn't seem to do it.

What I've done is take six albums on CD and load them all onto one DVD, which will play quite happily in my stereo.

I'm looking for something that will read the names off the DVDs and catalogue them.

But Delicious Library doesn't seem to pick them up from the DVD.

Found a good one - DiskCatalogMaker seems to do what I want.

    Catalog.

if you were part of the last macheist it was a freebee
got 14dvds of music backed-up from itunes from my last computer,
just insert the dvd, press calatog, and its done takes two seconds then to do a search to look for the mp3 i was looking for, pity it cant do anything for my bad taste in music.

Can recommend DiskCatalogMaker - not free but seems to do exactly what you're looking for and there's very regular updates. Got this about 3 years ago after I was spending half an hour each time I was looking for some archive or something that I'd burnt on a cd etc! Everything numbered now and in order!
