health?

I know I have griped about this before but it's really beginning to annoy me now. Tonight playing online,I pumped a rake of bullets into a 55 player at V close range,3 + signs came up nd he still didn't die. I'm on level 31,can someone tell me how high your extra health goes to when you reach higher,I'm inclined to believe that this guy and several others I've seen are cheating because I can't see the point in playing online and having infinate health if that is the case,I mean at level 55 you should be vgood,and not really need the perk to the point where it's only a heli that will bring you down.On another point how do you record in game?

ALL players regardless of rank have "100" Health except for players who use the "juggernaut" perk who have 140. the average ak47/m4 bullet does 15-45 damage depending on where it hits or if it is passing through any materials. Headshots do more damage but require more effort to achieve - check to see the perks of the player who killed you as more then likely u just arent hitting them hard enough or they had juggernaut and had more health then normal - possibly use a better gun??

its highly unlikely that players are using cheats to make them invincible - most (if not all) hack programs give players superhuman aim or unfair knowledge of where their opponents are (wallhacks). getting to rank 55 is very easy and is not a mark of skill in cod4 - also keep in mind if u dont know the games well enough it can be difficult to tell the "hackers" from the "skilled" players. - unless they have full-blown "spinning around instakill hilarity"

to record yourself while playing type "/record 1" into the console ([1] being the name of what u want to call the recording) - type /stoprecord to stop once u are finished

to play it back afterwards type "/demo 1" into the console
The console key is beside 1 and above tab also known as the "tilde" key

Though, how much are real? I nearly got kicked for cheating the other day until an admin spec'd me. Sometimes the innocent do get f***ed over.

Yeah its mostly wallhacks that are used, but theres no reason someone wont use a god mode hack, I heard the punk buster implementating infinity ward did is poor...

It would be pretty hard to say for definate if someone had a god-mode hack, there are alot of different things that can be used as excuses when someone won't go down.
You know like ping, choke, loss, rates all that sort of thing.

u are misinformed im afraid - such a hack is highly unlikely to even exist - ive been a punksbusted/pbban streaming admin for 3 years and havent seen a single mention of a god mode "hack" - it simply doesnt exist in cod - granted there cud be a 0.0001% chance it isnt getting caught and has never been discovered but this is (extremely) unlikely. only other possiblilty is if the player who wasnt dieing was a server admin who had started a developer version of the map and enabled the inbuilt "godmode" command - also unlikely

far more likely suggestions - i guess its just easier to assume someone is cheating then think someone is good at stayin alive

To the OP, from the knowledge of the game your post displays and the fact you're instantly jumping to the "He must be cheating" stance, it's highly likely he wasn't.
As Hercule said, make sure you're using a good gun ie. a rifle. Stick on stopping power for that extra kick and aim for the torso or head.

Hmm, I was under the impression people baught the cheats and they keep on getting updated and only available to "licensed customers", also on a proper server naturally admin should spot them but I made the point Punk Buster is not great at catching newer cheats. Just type in Call of duty cheat in youtube and see

Although I'll admit my knowledge of the game is limited,I don't always assume a player is cheating. Skill is one thing,3+ signs in a row when hit at point blank is something else, if hercule's post is correct about max health being 140,his was at 220 +. I wouldn't accuse anyone of cheating,but judging by the replies,the player was.

Did you read the replies??
I support Hercule's view that there is no such thing as an increased health hack in CoD4.
You didn't say what gun you were using or whether you were using stopping power or where you shot the guy but on average 3 x 40 = 120
120 < 140 therefore 3 shots doesn't have to kill a juggernaut. Infact depending on the gun, 3 shots doesn't have to kill someone without juggernaut.
What was your ping? Maybe your connection is dodgy. Or maybe his was.
