How can I determine the framerate in COD4 ?

I have a new GTX craphics card and I'd like to see what framerate it gives in COD4.

    Thanks...

There is a command you can type into the console. It is

    /cg_drawfps 1

To turn it off just do this

    /cg_drawfps 0

I always have /cg_drawfps 1 on. Reminds me why my 8800GT was so expensive! :p

Lol I am usually between 70 and 90 at 1280x1028 with an X1800gto, CoD 4 does not really push a graphics card at low - medium res.

Mine only runs at 40-60 fps at 1280x1024. I preferred living in ignorance!

If like me your system eats up cod4 for breakfast use /cg_maxfps 200 to get more than the locked 91 fps.

Anybody got a complete listing of console commands?

They pop up as you type, just mess around and you'll find what you're looking for.

to be honest man, there are so many commands for different things that I doubt you will find a complete list, especially with mods etc.

70 - 90 FPS with an X1800gto !!!!! hard to beleive... more like 40 if your lucky :D

I don't know man, I can only tell you what is appearing on my screen, and yes I am getting between 70 and 90 FPS. I could take a screenie for you if you really didn't believe me but that still would not verify which card I have I suppose.

I do have to say though that my card is oc'd with some extra pipelines unlocked.

Yeah but you're playing in low/medium. I'm playing on full!

When I installed the 8800GT, CoD4 looked like a completely different game! It really is amazing!

It's actually /com_maxfps and it's great. I'm now tipping 250 FPS on some maps and over 150 on most maps!!!!
But my monitor max refresh rate is 85 Hz so it's a mute point I guess. Still it's good to know that the 8800GTX has the overhead to handle more... roll on COD5:D
