Atlantean:

I saw that you had a post last year inquiring about getting a pallet sent from the uk to ireland. I was just wondering how did you fair out with this?

What company did you use and how much did it cost?
Were the company professional?

Any other info would be very helpful as i hope to do the exact same as what you did!

It never happened I'm afraid. I was quoted €210 plus VAT IIRC - a little more than the item was worth IMO.

he transports cars in from england & sometimes if he has room he will bring back other stuff. 087-2990141

ok thanks where is John flynn from and does he just require it to be put on a pallet?

p.s sorry to here about that A but who what company quoted you this 210euros?

john flynn is from carlow .

& he will give ya fair price no matter what ya want home , & any where in the country.

The pallet network do pallets at very good rates. Eg 105 euro for pallet load of alloys from uk to Ireland last week.

and did tpn themselves organize the pallet or was it up to the people sending them to sort the pallet out?

I think you have to sort out the pallet yourself they just pick it up.
