Can anyone give me an idea how much it costs to rent out a table with the taps built in and you serve your own pints??
Is the price of a pint more expensive at the self service tables?

    Thanks

Don't think so, I think you just leave your credit card behind the bar so you don't do a legger. Give them a shout, Louis's staff are usually very good.

Price is the same as at the bar iirc. No charge for renting the table, just leave a card as guarantee for the booze. There's a meter on each tap to measure how much you've used and you settle up when you're finished. The Guinness is lovely too!

Sounds a bit of a rip-off to be honest - should be cheaper than at the bar if there's no barman involved in pulling your pint.

A rip off? In a Dublin pub? You jest, sir.

Next thing you'll be accusing publicans of arbitrarily putting their prices up whenever the excise duty or wholesale price rises.
