The Spirit of Marathon movie opened last night in the States.

Apparantly it's the first ever non fiction feature-length film to capture the essence, drama and unique spectacle of the famed 26.2-mile race. Follows 6 athletes, some first timers, others elites (Deena Castor and Daniel Njenga) preparing for marathons and also features the likes of Paula Radcliffe, Hal Higdon, Bill Rodgers, Alberto Salazar, Paul Tergat and Grete Waitz among others.

It opened as a one night only showing but apparantly it'll show again in February. Hopefully it'll come to our shores, it's getting good reviews on the Lets Run forums.
