I imagine you've seen Back to the Future?
I heartily recommend Bender's Big Score if you are a Futurama fan. Best time travel epic Ive seen in years :)

Primer is a great example of trying to do a time travel movie that actually doesn't have stupid plot holes in it.

Heh I edited my post from Primer. I'd recommend it too, although with the warning that one's head might explode if they try to understand it. The wikipedia page gave me headaches.

well you could do worse than "my science project"

less about time travel and more about a time vortex bringing things from different eras to them and its fun to boot.

lets be honest, theres not that many films where you get to see a T rex in a PE hall :)

    The One with Jet Li

That didn't feature time travel though, but rather travel between dimensions.

Ive been rackin my brains the last few months trying to rember the name of this film.

Sherman: This plant has been extinct for sixty billion years!

i bought this dirt cheap on play.com and couldnt believe how much of it i still remembered.

fisher stevens was class in it. i love the bit where theyre down the police station and he imitating the cop reading em their rights behind his back(who then grabs vince by the back of the neck whilst not missing a beat in his lines)

plus the revelation shermans a gun nut :)

for the one liners alone its a film ya can drag out every couple of months.

cop. " why you wearing sunglasses at night?"

vince "because when your cool the sun shines on you 24 hours a day !"

The Triangle, tv show with Sam Neill is very good....

    The Langoliers is good too...

    Films

    Gattaca is class...

    Pitch black is cool...

    Deja Vu aint bad..

    Premonition.

Sandra Bullock film. not sure it can be described as "good" however it's not as bad as Donnie Darko.

The afforementioned 12 monkeys I would also recommend.

The Time Machine isn't as bad as that, I enjoyed it.

Deja Vu is another time travelling film that you might be interested in. The XO from crimson tide is in it, his name escapes me at this late hour.

Donnie Darko was brilliant compared to the crap fest that is Premonition!
Denzel Washington is who your thinking of in Deja Vu!
