Hi, I have a Zen Vision M on which someone stood on, and the screen is no longer working.

This is the only thing wrong with it, as I can still play the tracks on my laptop (vista basic).

Does anyone know if the screen can be repaired, and if so how much would it cost?

I've also just gotten myself Zen Vision W.

Is there a way to get the music from the "M" to the "W" easily?

You don't seem to be able to copy from one to the other using USB to connect both of them to the laptop.

There's ~25-27GB of music on the "M", and I don't know what's happening, but it won't seem to copy to the laptop if I click ctrl+a, copy, paste to a new folder on the laptop (I have enough space on the HD).

So I'm copying the albums one by one to the laptop, then I'll do the same to the "W".

Someone please tell me there's a faster, less time consuming way of doing it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I've moved music between several Vision Ms and Creative
Stones by just highlighting all the tracks/folders and dragging
and dropping either onto my laptop and then onto the 2nd device
or even by dragging from one device and dropping directly onto the
    other.

I take it you're using Windows Explorer to view the Zen M
as an external drive and not using the Creative software or
'Zen Vision M Explorer' shortcut in the 'My Computer' window.

What version of Windows you using?

    Vista Basic.

    Stop laughing.

I don't know if it's Vista, or what, but if I try to use them as external drives, it opens the Creative software.

I'm gonna bring my lappy to work tomorrow and see what I can do.

Thanks for your help though :)

There's a XP PC in my mother's house, I think I'll go there tomorrow if I can't get this done on my laptop.
