    I recently came back from my holidays in South East Asia.... whilst there I discovered there method equivalent to our waxing... Threading!!!

    Since coming back to Ireland I've head that there are places around Dublin offering Threading. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to go to get Threading done. I am thinking that I would prefer an Asian beautician to do it for me as I feel that they might be better trained at it.

    Any suggestions???

    There was a thread on it here a month or two ago.

    I went to Eva Belle in Rathmines, where I had my eyebrows threading by an Asian lady. The shape was excellent, but I found that the hairs grew backing quicker than with waxing. Plus it took too long.

    It was worth doing it for the experience, but I'm back to my waxing.

    maybe it seemed like it?
    wax= hair being pulled out
    threading = same

    wax is more likley to rip some skin off too.

    I'd agree with that, sometimes my eyebrows grow back faster than other times

    Which is very sore and NOT a good look (I know).

    Does anyone know how much it costs to get done here in Ireland? It was only $6 in NY, I was going to get it done but I was only after plucking my eyebrows the day before so I didn't see much point.

    Does anyone know of anywhere to get brow threading done in Cork city??

    In my hometown in Canada every second spa and salon offers threading, and I miss it dearly!

    Hi Cas

    Ive had it done in Blow on Baggot St with varied results... Was hapy with them the first time and sworn on to threading but when I went back the 2nd time to the same shop, the beautician told me they were a mess... I politely explained that they had been done in Blow the last time. She kept on and on and I was getting annoyed. She was telling me they were too short on me and showing where the brows shoudl end etc etc

    I had to tell her 5 times I hadnt touched them since her colleague did them the previous time.

    Rant over.

    I love threading.

    I love threading too! Its such a different experience. There's a place on Dorset St that does it Naturelle. Indian lady working in there. Eyebrows are €15, so dont expect NY prices around here :)

    Hi folks, just saw this thread and thought i might be able to help. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for the last 8 months with a beautician called Binni.

    She's a threading grand master of which there are only 7 in the world. She's absolutely superb and the threading is pain free. She works in Salon Euphoria in Malahide. Here's her website www.binnisthreading.com

    Hope this helps a bit :)
