I got myself a vision w on tuesday and transferred a load of mp3s to it using WMP9. When i disconnected the player from my pc i couldnt see any of the files i transferred to it. When i plugged it back into the PC i can see the songs. When i look at the system info on the player i can see that the available space matches with what i expected.

    Any ideas?

Did you install the software, because WM10 is on the disk, maybe this has something to do with it.

Are you sure they are mp3s? Some videos I transferred to my "W" aren't being found by the player, but are there when I browse on the pc. The file type I don't think is recognised.

They are all MP3s. I used the WM9 i already had installed. It worked fine with the vision m i had so i thought it would work with the vision w as well. bugger

You should be able to just click and drag into "music".

I thought the same thing. Creative didnt as you cant. I had to reload all the music again overnight using WMP10 and it all seems hunky dory. Thanks for the help.

Hi - has anyone here had a problem with the Zen:W not powering off properly?
i.e you turn it off and it sits there 'nearly-off' - but with the battery symbol still on (it' not plugged into power or pc)

got it the toher day and it's been like that since.

any suggestions? the firmware seems to be uo to date
