What are you most looking forward to?

Okay so we know Metal Gear and GTA are on the way, and Haze has been delayed for now at least. But what else are you guys looking forward to? Seems like a ton of great game son the horizon.

I'm liking the look of Far Cry 2 and Star Wars the Force Unleashed. Also, Conflict: Denied Ops, Tiberium and Tom Raider.

Took me a while to get into the demo. I didn't like the free roaming. But then I really started to enjoy it.

MGS - I remember being so keen to play MGS 2, but was so disappointed in it when it came out. Too many cutscenes, not half enough action. Then, which seemed to become their norm, a special edition was released a couple of months later. I think I'll wait til I see the reviews first, much as I'll chew my nails to the bone.

I can't wait to see how good Tekken 6 looks. All the Tekkens have always looked and played great. I hope they keep it up on the Ps3, if theres one genre that sees games die off after generation leaps its best em ups.

Home, MGS4, Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and Littlebigplanet.

Those are the only exclusive games I'm looking forward to. Reviews will depend on whether i buy GTA, DMC4, Burnout et al. on 360 or PS3.

Totally agree - I'm getting sick of it at this stage - if it's for development reasons I understand (to a point) but if it's to do with the "Financial year" etc - fcuk that!:mad:

Already have Burnout Paradise, so that's one off my list...

GTAIV (will most likely get it for the 360 due to DLC)
Wipeout HD
Resistance 2
MGS (even though I never really gave 2 or 3 a proper go)
The Club (The demo seemed to control fairly well on the PS3, but I'll wait to hear a few comparisons of the final product before deciding which version to buy...)

Eternal Sonata which is on the 360 already is a fantastic RPG and well worth getting.
White Knight Story will no doubt be amazing, Level 5 have yet to produce a bad game.

I've a nasty feeling FFXIII will be utter tripe.

It does look interesting. Edge ran an article on it last month. There's a very vocal fanbase who are not happy about the move to 3D! :eek:

Playstation Home could be good- if it works as shown, it'll help the PS3's online element compete much more favourably.

There's nowhere else for it go though is there? What a great game, spent hundreds of quid on SF2 Turbo in the arcade.

edit: just happened to be comparing the price of the MGS on the site below with the ones on play and noticed the release date. please dont say this is so and that its still due to be released on the 4th of april as per play and games stores locally http://www.videogamesplus.ca/product_info.php?products_id=13097

I'd much rather gorgeous HD 2D hand drawn characters with disney quality animation. Would look so much better than any 3D update.

They do seem to be preserving the visual style of the originals despite the transition to 3D. It seems to have been a choice made with some careful consideration.

Oh yeah, it still looks like SF through and through. Quite cartoony looking characters - Ryu and Ken anyways.

I read somewhere that enough people aren't buying 2d beat em ups to make top quality animation profitable.

It's a shame though, always thought the 2D beat'em ups like SF and the neo geo offerings played way better than any 3D offerings. It probably makes financial sense to make it 3D because many of the games buying public are idiots and will think 2D equates to a crap game and graphics and 2D animation costs a hell of a lot more and is far more time consuming. It's a shame to lose on of the last bastions of 2D gaming.

it says on videogamesplus in april. Maybe july for europe. Play.com says its out 11th of may??

Arent we getting that on Xbox Live and the PSN Store at some stage? Maybe not the disney quality animation, but the HD part anyway.
